Shaft supports usually support precision steel shafts continuously over the entire length of the linear system. The continuous support ensures a particularly rigid bearing and prevents deflection of the steel shaft. A high, low or compact design covers the respective application areas. Due to limitations in installation space, shaft supports can also be used as individual segments to partially support the precision steel shaft.
A ready-to-install shaft support consists of one or more drilled support rails, mounting screws and a radially drilled precision steel shaft. The support rails are made of aluminum and are available both drilled and undrilled. Unbored support rails can be provided with mounting holes in individual pitch according to customer specifications.
